Rihanna: Loud Album Review

Back in 2005, Rihanna released her first single, "Pon de Replay".  Now fast forward 9 years later and she's become a famous pop star.  Today I'll be reviewing her 5th album, "Loud".  "Loud" was a complete change from her 4th album, "Rated R" which was more dark.  "Loud" achieved 3 number one singles in the U.S., was nominated for many grammys, and had a total of 7 singles.  Here's my track by track review:

1) S&M: The fourth single from the album.  I didn't listen to the song until it became a single.  I will also and admit (and I know this will sound stupid) but I didn't know what the term "s&m" meant until a friend of mine told me.  I was surprised but that didn't stop me from liking the song.  The video also gained controversy which is strange since her video for "Umbrella" didn't get any controversy.  The song was also remixed with Britney Spears on it which helped it get to number 1 in the U.S.  Personally I prefer the original version.  9/10

2) What's My Name (featuring Drake): The second single from the album.  While I can't stand Drake's verse and wish it was taken out, I still love this song.  It's very catchy and vocally one of Rihanna's best songs.  No surprise this song also got number 1.  10/10

3) Cheers (Drink to That): The seventh and final single from the album.  The song samples Avril Lavigne's song, "I'm with You" and since I'm a huge Avril Lavigne fan I automatically liked this song.  While I don't drink I still like this song and I like that Avril was in the video for it.  It was a pleasant surprise.  10/10

4) Fading: This song samples Enya's "One by One".  When a re-release for "Loud" was announced in 2011 there was a rumor that a new "Fading" would be the first single from.  Although a version of the song without the Enya sample leaked, the re-release of "Loud" was cancelled and "Talk That Talk" was released instead.  It used to be my favorite song on the album but because I've listened to it so much, It's gotten a little boring but I still love it.  9/10

5) Only Girl (in the World): The first single from the album.  While the song did get her a grammy and became a number hit in the U.S., I find it to be the weakest song on the album.  The production is okay and the lyrics are kinda boring.  7/10

6) California King Bed: The fifth single from the album.  I didn't listen to this song until it was announced as a single.  Then it made me cry and it became my favorite song.  The song is a pop/rock ballad and showcases her vocals perfectly.  The video was also amazing.  10/10

7) Man Down: The sixth single from album.  "Man Down" was co-written by recording artist Shontelle who knew Rihanna before she became famous.  The song has a reggae beat but lyrically very dark.  In the song Rihanna talks about how she show a man down.  The song itself is listen growing on me.  8/10

8) Raining Men (featuring Nicki Minaj): The third single from the album.  A lot of people didn't know this song was a single since it didn't have a video and was released on to U.S. urban radio.  Rihanna and Nicki mainly rap the song with Rihanna also singing the chorus and the hook.  While the chorus is great the rapping doesn't really fit with the song.  8/10

9) Complicated: No this song is not an Avril Lavigne cover.  I'd be horrified if it was.  The song is about how a relationship can get complicated sometimes.  While the song was vocally great and perfect for radio, it was not released as a single.  To this day that still surprises me.  10/10

10) Skin: Like "S&M", "Skin" is a very sexual song.  I initially ignored "Skin" because it's intro sounded boring but after awhile I was surprised how risky the lyrics were.  If the song had a video, I'm pretty sure it would've been her most controversial video ever.  10/10

11) Love the Way You Lie (Part 2) (featuring Eminem): We all know Eminem's single "Love the Way You Lie (featuring Rihanna)" since it became a big hit in 2010 but I'm pretty sure no one thought that a sequel to the song would be made.  This version is told from a woman's perspective and was supposed to be on Skylar Grey's album since she wrote but it was given to Rihanna instead.  Although the song is okay, it's not as good as the original in my opinion.  7/10

Rihanna is now working on her eighth album which should be released by the end of the year.  My favorite song on this album are: "California King Bed", "What's My Name (featuring Drake)", "Skin", "Complicated", and "Raining Men (featuring Nicki Minaj").  Out of 110 points I give the album 98 which is 89%, a B+.  Awesome job Rihanna!  Can't wait for the new album!

Hilary Duff: Best of Hilary Duff

I typed in my last review that I'd be reviewing Hilary Duff's "Best of Hilary Duff" today.  I'm doing this for two reasons.  One because I'm a fan and two, because I had a lot of stuff to do today and not much time to do a review.  "Best of Hilary Duff" was made to end Hilary's contract with Hollywood Records after the label scrapped the plan to re-release "Dignity" so that led Hilary to release "Best of Hilary Duff" since her contract with the label expected one more album.  So here's my track by track review of the album:

1) Reach Out: This was the first and only single released from the album.  It also features a rap from a rapper called Prophet.  The song also samples the song "Personal Jesus" from Depeche Mode.  The video was more racy then any of her other videos.  9/10

2) Holiday: Another new song.  This was supposed to be the second single from the album but it was cancelled.  The song was written by Hilary, Haylie Duff, and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.  Sad that it wasn't a single.  10/10

3) Stranger: The third and final single from "Dignity".  I reviewed the song yesterday in my review for "Dignity".  Still love the song.  10/10

4) With Love: The second single from "Dignity".  I reviewed this song yesterday as well.  I'm glad this song is on here though.  10/10

5) Play With Fire: The first single from "Dignity".  I reviewed this song yesterday as well but I did forget to mention something in my review for it.  The song's video was filmed before the actual song was completed because she wanted it to be the first single from "Dignity".  How crazy is that?  8/10

6) Wake Up: While it was the first single from "Most Wanted" and is one of her highest charting singles, I still don't like it.  5/10

7) Fly: The first single from "Hilary Duff".  While I gave it a 9 on both my reviews for "Hilary Duff" and "Most Wanted", I've been listening to it a lot more and decided to give it a 10.  10/10

8) Come Clean (Remix): Why is it that this song is always remixed?  The original is way better and should've been on here instead.  6/10

9) So Yesterday: The first single (or second if you count "Why Not", yes I'm doing this again) from "Metamorphosis".  While it's more disney sounding then the rest of the album it's still good to see it on here.  10/10

10) Why Not: The first single from both "Metamorphosis" and the "Lizzie McGuire Movie".  I reviewed it already on "Most Wanted" and it's still really good.  10/10

11) Reach Out (Remix): A remix of the first single from the album.  To me it sounds boring and I prefer the original.  8/10

12) Holiday: (Remix): Another remix.  This song however is really good.  I'm not sure whether I like this version or the original more.  It also make me wonder again, why wasn't "Holiday" a single?!?!?!  10/10

Since Hollywood Records didn't promote to the album, it didn't chart very well.  This was probably because the label knew Hilary was going to leave the label and not renew her contract with them.  My favorite songs on this album are: "Holiday", "Holiday (Remix)", "Stranger", "With Love", "Play With Fire", "Why Not', "Fly", "So Yesterday", and "Reach Out".  Out of 120 points I give the album 106 which is 88%, a B+.  Awesome!  Can't wait for her new album.

Hilary Duff: Dignity Album Review

Today I'm reviewing another one of Hilary Duff's albums.  This time it will be "Dignity" which was released in 2007, written mostly by Hilary herself, and so far to date it is her last album of new material until she releases her new album hopefully sometime this year.  Here's my track by track review of "Dignity":

1) Stranger: The third and final single from the album.  Rumors were that this song was about her ex-boyfriend at the time Joel Madden but in fact it written about her father.  Wow.  The song was much darker compared to Hilary's other songs.  Despite being her lowest charting single, the song and video were great.  10/10

2) Dignity: The title track.  This song was rumored to be about Nicole Richie but it is actually about people in Hollywood who have no dignity at all.  Although the song is kinda boring, I can't help but like the lyrics.  10/10

3) With Love: The second single from the album.  This song wasn't supposed to be on the album at all.  In fact Hilary wrote and recorded it only for her fragrance, "With Love... Hilary Duff".  In the end the song was put on the album and became Hilary's highest charting single in the U.S.  The video was good although it ended with Hilary and her co-star in an elevator falling down and a "to be continued" at the end.  10/10

4) Danger: "Were you born in '74, are the kind of guy that I should ignore?"  Interesting way to begin a song.  This song was inspired by a friend of Hilary who had a relationship with an older man.  I hated the song at first but over the years it's become one of my favorite songs on the album.  Like "Stranger" this song also has a dark tone to it.  10/10

5) Gypsy Woman: This song is my favorite song on the album.  This song was also rumored to be about Nicole Richie but it was about her father, just like "Stranger".  The song was supposed to be the fourth single from the album but for dome reason it was cancelled.  It was released as a promo single though.  10/10

6) Never Stop: Just when you think the album doesn't have a boring song on here, you here this one.  I feel that "Never Stop" is just repetitive and boring.  While I love the message, the overall song is weak.  7/10

7) No Work, All Play: Lyrically it's a great song, but it's production is kinda bland.  On top of that Hilary sounds bored on this song.  8/10

8) Between You and Me: Yawn.  I'm not a fan of this song either.  7/10

9) Dreamer: Probably the most pop sounding song on this album.  It's about a stalker but it's written in a tongue-in-cheek way.  Even though the second verse is kinda boring I don't mind it and I like this song.  10/10

10) Happy: "Happy" was one of the first songs mentioned on the album.  The song is about getting over a breakup.  It's perfect to listen to if you're having a bad day.  I also like the violin parts in the song.  10/10

11) Burned: "I've got an imaginary shield around me, but nobody's ever really gotten through."  That's deep.  I think that part is about how it can be hard to trust people.  Either way the song is still pretty good.  10/10

12) Outside of You: This was the only song on the album that Hilary didn't write.  This song was actually written by Pink.  The song is more pop/rock as opposed to the rest of this album being mainly dance but I like that it's different.  10/10

13) I Wish: Oh how I relate to this song to well.  "I wish that I could be like, I was before".  This was my favorite song on the album when I first got it and I still like it 7 years later.  I love the guitar solo near the end of the song.  10/10

14) Play With Fire: The first single from the album.  Initially the song was called "Happy" was it's lyrics and instrumentals were changed and "Happy" became a different song and track #10 on this album, although a sample of the original version of "Happy" is played in the film "Material Girls".  I liked "Play With Fire" in the beginning but after I heard the rock mix version of this I thought the the original version wasn't as good as the rock mix version.  Still like the song though.  8/10

"Dignity" was supposed to be re-released with remixes and two new songs but that was scrapped and Hilary ended up releasing "Best of Hilary Duff" to leave her label.  My favorite songs on this album are: "Gypsy Woman", "Danger", "Stranger", "Happy", "With Love", "I Wish", "Dreamer", and "Play With Fire".  Out of 140 points I give the album 130 points which is 92%, an A.  Awesome!  Just a heads up, tomorrow I'll be reviewing Hilary Duff's "Best of Hilary Duff" album.

Cheryl Cole: A Million Lights Album Review

Before she was a solo artist like she is now, Cheryl Cole was on the show "Popstars: The Rivals" were she competed and made it into the girl group known as "Girls Aloud".  Girls Aloud ended up being one of the most successful girl bands in the U.K. with all but two singles peaking in the top 10 of the charts.  They took a break in 2009 to do solo projects.  Cheryl ended up being a judge on X Factor and released three albums, "3 Words", "Messy Little Raindrops", and "A Million Lights".  Girls Aloud ended up getting back together in 2012, the same year "A Million Lights" was released, and they released their album "Ten" before going on tour and disbanding.  Now Cheryl is back on X Factor and working on her fourth album which will hopefully be released later this year.  Until then I'll review her last album, "A Million Lights", so here's my track by track review:

1) Under the Sun: The second and final single from the album.  It talks about a guy telling a girl everything she wants to hear.  I love this song and it makes me happy when I hear it.  It got comparisons to Natasha Bedingfield's work, which makes sense.  10/10

2) Call My Name: The first single from the album.  I wanted to ignore this song because I had read reviews that it was similar to Rihanna's "We Found Love" which was produced and written by Calvin Harris, who produced this song too.  I don't really like "We Found Love" because it's boring and I tried not to listen to "Call My Name" but one day I was bored and only listened to it once.  But one time is all you need to get that chorus stuck in your head.  It's still in my head as I type this!  9/10

3) Craziest Things (featuring will.i.am): While I credit her for co-writing at least one song on the album, it's pretty boring.  Shame because when her and will.i.am did "3 Words" it was pretty good.  4/10

4) Girl in the Mirror: We all have days where we're stressed and give ourselves a hard time.  this song talks about that.  I initially thought the song was boring until I had a bad day and wouldn't listen to anything but this song.  It definitely helped me out, even though I'm a guy.  10/10

5) A Million Lights: The title track.  It starts off slow initially and later turns into an amazing ballad.  It showcases Cheryl's voice perfectly.  I love this song and it brings a tear to my eye sometimes.  10/10

6) Screw You (featuring Wretch 32): Apparently when Cheryl did this song she was drunk.  If that's the case then she should be drunk doing songs more often because this song is awesome!  Out of all the songs on the album, this is my favorite song!  It starts off slow at first but gets more upbeat and you can feel the anger in her voice.  Rumors were it's about her ex-husband who cheated on her but she denied that.  This song was supposed to be the third single from the album but because of Girls Aloud got back together, the release was cancelled.  Shame.  10/10

7) Love Killer: There are a lot of people that like this song, but I tried listening to it at least three times and I'm not a fan of it.  The song talks about being in love with someone who lets you down, which almost everyone can relate.  Hopefully it'll get better when I listen to it later, but right now it's not that good.  5/10

8) Ghetto Baby: This song was written by Lana Del Rey.  It also feels like Cheryl tried to sound a little like her on this song.  While the song isn't as dance-pop as most of the songs on the album, it does showcase her vocals very well.  The song also a music that was mainly showing closeups of Cheryl and showing her doing a dance routine with her dancers.  Overall a great song.  10/10

9) Sexy Den a Mutha: While it may be described to most as a "dancefloor hit" I'm not really a fan of this song.  5/10

10) Mechanics of the Heart: I ignored this song but the last couple days I can't seem to get it out of my head.  It's a ballad like the title.  The song was written Taio Cruz and it talks about being heartbroken from a previous relationship.  I was going to give it a 7 but I changed my mind at the last minute.  8/10

11) All is Fair: I haven't really listen to this song much.  To me it's not as memorable as the rest of the songs on this album.  4/10

Cheryl did promote the album on her "A Million Lights Tour" which can be seen on youtube.  My favorite songs on the album are: "Screw You (featuring Wretch 32)", "Under the Sun", "Ghetto Baby", "Girl in the Mirror", "A Million Lights", and "Call My Name".  Out of 110 points I give the album 84 which is 76%, a C+.  Not bad Cheryl, can't wait for you new album!

Play: Girl's Mind Album Review

Awhile back I reviewed Play's second album "Replay", today I'll be reviewing their greatest hits album, "Girl's Mind".  Here's my track by track review:

1) Us Against the World: The first single from their first album, the self-titled "Play".  The video was played a lot on Disney Channel and the song was even on an episode of "Lizzie McGuire".  The song was really good at the time but over the years it's kinda boring.  8/10

2) I'm Gonna Make You Love Me: The second single from "Play".  It is a cover that was originally performed by Diana Ross & The Supremes and The Temptations.  The song also features Chris Trousdale who at the time was in the band Dream Street with Jesse McCartney.  The video was just of the band being in the studio with Chris.  The was popular on Disney but the song itself isn't as good as the original.  6/10

3) Hopelessly Devoted: Song from their album "Play".  It is a cover that was originally sung by Olivia Newton-John in the film Grease.  While I don't listen to Olivia Newton-John, I question why this song is on here, instead of their cover of "Cinderella" which was the third and final single from "Play".  6/10

4) Let's Get to the Love Part: I reviewed this song on my review for "Replay".  Although it wasn't a single I'm glad it was on this album.  10/10

5) Girl's Mind: I reviewed this song on my review for "Replay".  It's the title track for this album so it makes sense that it'd be on this album.  10/10

6) I Must Not Chase the Boys: The first single from "Replay".  Like I said with the last two songs, I already reviewed this song.  10/10

7) Hot: While I reviewed this song on "Replay", I was confused why this song was on here instead of "Whole Again", the second single from "Replay".  I question why this song is on here.  6/10

8) What Is Love?: I reviewed this song on my review for "Replay", I know I've said it too many times, but the album has a lot of songs from that album on here.  Strange since that album only had 2 singles, but I still like this song.  10/10

9) Another Love Story: When I saw that this song was on the album I was surprised.  This song was on the group's album, "Don't Stop the Music" which is strange since Faye had left the group and was replaced by Janet for that album.  But this version has Faye's vocals on it which means that the song was an unreleased song from "Replay".  While it wasn't a single at all, it's cool to hear a different version of this song.  10/10

10) Ain't No Mountain High Enough: Reviewed this song on my "Replay" review, but I wonder why this song is on the album instead of their cover of "It's the Hard Knock Life", "evergirl", "M.A.S.T.E.R. Part 2", their cover of "Every Little Step" or "As Long as There's Christmas" which were all singles.  Makes no sense.  8/10

Despite "Girl's Mind" being released as a greatest hits album, the album only has 3 of the group's 9 singles at the time.  For die-hard Play fans it's a must buy because of the new version of "Another Love Story".  My favorite songs on the album are: "Another Love Story", "What Is Love?", "Let's Get to the Love Part", "Girl's Mind", and "I Must Not chase the Boys".  Out of 100 points I give the album 84 points which is 84%, a B.  Awesome!

Avril Lavigne: Let Go Album Review

Is it any surprise that I'm reviewing another Avril Lavigne album?  Not really!  I love her music!  Today I'll be reviewing her first album, "Let Go".  So here's my track by track review:

1) Losing Grip: The fourth single from the album.  It was one of the more rock sounding songs on the album, as well as Avril's favorite song on the album.  The song talks about a relationship where the person you're with isn't even trying.  The video for the song was Avril performing the song in front of a crowd, she also did some crowd surfing in the video.  The song was released as an introduction to her next album, "Under My Skin", which was much more of a hard rock album as opposed to this one.  It's my favorite song on the album.  10/10

2) Complicated: The first single from the album.  I'm pretty sure everyone knows this song since it still gets airplay on radio to this day.  The songs talks about how people can be fake sometimes.  Everyone can relate to that!  The video features Avril with her band "crashing" a mall.  Good Charlotte referenced part of the video in their video for "Girls & Boys".  In 2013, Avril Lavigne wore the same outfit from this video in her video for "Here's to Never Growing Up".  "Complicated" remains one of her biggest hits to date.  10/10

3) Sk8er Boi: The second single from the album.  Like "Complicated", "Sk8er Boi" also gets a lot of airplay radio to this day.  The song talked about a guy who was crushing on girl who liked him as well but because her friends didn't like him it didn't work out but years later he becomes famous.  In other words that girl made a big mistake!  The video mainly focused on Avril and her band and at the end of the video the cops and helicopter arrive just as Avril is breaking a car window with her guitar.  The song was also referenced in her video for "Rock N Roll" in 2013.  10/10

4) I'm with You: The third single from the album.  While "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi" were upbeat fun pop songs, "I'm with You" showed a different side to Avril since it was a ballad and showcased her amazing vocals.  In the video she is seen at a party feeling alone as well as her walking the streets alone and leaving the party.  The song was sampled in Rihanna's song "Cheers (Drink to That)", which Avril was in the video for.  10/10

5) Mobile: The fifth and final single from the album.  Yes, this song was released as a single.  Many people don't know that since it was only released in Australia and New Zealand.  A video for it was shot in 2002 but wasn't seen until 2011 when it was leaked onto the internet.  The video showed Avril playing guitar while walking and crying.  10/10

6) Unwanted: This song was released as a promotional single in the U.K.  Like "Losing Grip", this song was also a rock song.  The song is about rejection after only meeting the person and how they make you feel unwanted and want you to go away, despite that you haven't done anything wrong.  10/10

7) Tomorrow: An acoustic pop ballad.  The song was played in an episode of Smallville and was used in a commercial that Avril was in back 2009, but I forget what the commercial was for.  Still amazing song!  10/10

8) Anything But Ordinary: "Sometimes I get so weird, I even freak myself out."  One of my favorite lyrics.  The album was almost titled "Anything But Ordinary" after this song but Avril changed it to "Let Go", which was later revealed to be one of her unreleased songs.  I love this song as well!  10/10

9) Things I'll Never Say: Like "Unwanted", "Things I'll Never Say" was also a promotional single but not in the U.K., instead it was released in Italy.  It's about wanting to say all the things in your head but you get too nervous to say them.  We can relate to that right?  10/10

10) My World: "In my head my thought are deep, sometimes I can't even speak, someone be and not pretend, I'm off again in my world".  Funny how I can always relate to this line in the song.  Wish this song was released as a single.  10/10

11) Nobody's Fool: In this song Avril talk raps, just like she did in "Bitchin' Summer".  Only difference is that in "Bitchin' Summer" she did that in one verse and in "Nobody's Fool" she did it in two verses.  This song is about sticking up for yourself and not being anyone's puppet.  I can relate to this one.  10/10

12) Too Much to Ask: This song is about how a guy chose drugs over his girlfriend and even when she ignores him he still doesn't care.  That really sucks!  My favorite part of the song was the lyric "you can't see the world through a mirror".  10/10

13) Naked: The last song on the album.  This song talks about being with someone who makes you feel good.  They see the you for you are and make you feel loved.  It's a really good song and a perfect way to end the album.  10/10

To this day "Let Go" remains Avril's most successful album.  I love all the songs on the album.  Out of 130 points I give the album 130 points, which is an A+.  No surprise since it's a great album!  Also don't be surprised when I review "The Best Damn Thing" in the future.

Ashlee Simpson: Autobiography Album Review

Hello everyone!  Happy April 1st (a.k.a. April Fool's day)!  It's been awhile since I posted anything on this blog but I'm back!  For the whole month of April I'll be reviewing an album each day (and no this is not an April fool's joke, this is the truth), I tried to do that in February but I was short by 3 days.  Anyway, today I'll be reviewing Ashlee Simpson's "Autobiography" album which was released almost 10 years ago.  Since its release she has released two albums, "I Am Me" and "Bittersweet World", married and divorced Fallout Boy's Pete Wentz, had a baby with him, and got engaged to Diana Ross' son Evan Ross.  So here is my track by track review:

1) Autobiography: The first song on the album is the title track.  It was one of Ashlee's favorite songs on the album.  It was also used as the theme song on her show "The Ashlee Simpson Show" back in 2004.  The song was initially supposed to be the third and final single from the album but after the SNL incident it was changed.  I wish it was a single.  10/10

2) Pieces of Me: The first single from the album and to date her highest charting one.  It's a happy love song that she wrote about then boyfriend Ryan Cabrera.  It's still a guilty pleasure song of mine to this day.  10/10

3) Shadow: The second single from the album.  Probably one of the most, if not the most personal song of Ashlee's on this album.  It's talks about living in her sister, Jessica Simpson's, shadow but then finding her own identity.  I hated this song so much when I got the album and I'm gonna be honest, I started to like it after it became a single.  Sad right?  9/10

4) Lala: The third single from the album.  A very upbeat in your face song with lyrics that sound sexual.  My relatives hated this song so much but I liked it, even though I didn't know what the song was about at the time.  I went through a phase of where I hated it but went back to liking it again.  10/10

5) Love Makes the World Go Round: This song was said by some reviewers that it sounded like a Hilary Duff song.  The song is about the disappointment of a relationship ending.  I didn't start liking it until I was about 15 or 16.  10/10

6) Better Off: An uplifting upbeat, positive song.  It puts me in a good mood quick.  I love the lyrics and the guitar riffs.  10/10

7) Love Me For Me: Like, "Lala" this song is very in your face and it's hard to tell if she wants to stay with her boyfriend or leave him.  My favorite part was always the second verse.  10/10

8) Surrender: This is my favorite song on the album.  The first time I heard it was on "The Ashlee Simpson Show" when she was recording it.  When I got the album, I was glad to see it there.  It's a very carefree song about a breakup and if I'm in a bad move I put this song on and it calms me down.  Why it wasn't a single, I'll never know.  10/10

9) Unreachable: Ashlee wrote this song after breaking up with then boyfriend actor, Josh Henderson.  Worst part for was that she had to deal with it while the show was filming.  It's an upbeat ballad that I seem to listen to more and more as time goes by.  10/10

10) Nothing New: Sick of drama from your ex?  Well so was Ashlee, which is why she wrote this song about that.  Eventually it becomes to much and she finally says she's done.  Like the title track, "Nothing New" was one of Ashlee's favorite songs on this album.  10/10

11) Giving It All Away: This song is a ballad about not throwing your life away.  Although I like the message, the song itself is the weakest on the album from me.  5/10

12) Undiscovered: The last song on the album.  Another one of Ashlee's favorites, it is a ballad that was also used in the film that was also called "Undiscovered" that Ashlee not only started in but performed this song too.  Rumors are that this song was supposed to be the fourth single and because it had a video (footage of her performing the song in the film) it makes sense.  I always loved the third verse.  10/10

While Ashlee hasn't released any new material except a buzz single called "Bat for a Heart", which wasn't all that good, she is said to still be working on her fourth album.  My favorite songs on this album are: "Surrender", "Autobiography", "Unreachable", "Better Off", "Undiscovered", "Love Makes the World Go Round", "Nothing New", "Pieces of Me", and "Love Me for Me".  Out of 120 points I give the album 114 which is 95%, an A.  Remember I'll be reviewing albums this whole month so stayed tuned for more!
