1) Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father): The first single from the album. Not only was it the only one to have a video but the video was directed by Lindsay herself. The song is about her father. It ended up being her highest charting song in the U.S., but that being said it was a bad choice as a first single. 6/10
2) Black Hole: This song was at, one point, supposed to be the third single but for whatever reasons it was cancelled. It's hard to hear in her voice in the chorus, but other than that the song is still good. Kelly Clarkson was supposed to cover it for her "My December" album but decided against it, which is sad cause I'd love to hear her do a version of it, pop/rock band I Nine did cover the song though for their album "Heavy Weighs the King" with slightly different lyrics and a lighter sound. 10/10
3) I Live for the Day: The second single from the album. It was supposed to have a video but the video was cancelled due to her busy schedule at the time, however the treatment for the video did leak on the internet and the concept for the video seemed cool. My favorite song on the album. 10/10
4) I Want You to Want Me: A cover song that was originally performed by the band Cheap Trick and is the most positive song on this album. While is version is okay it doesn't really fit the mood and theme of this record. 7/10
5) My Innocence: Another song about her father. The song is very dark and was also a b-side to "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)". Like that song, I don't listen to this song much at all. 7/10
6) A Little More Personal: The title track. Unlike most of the album that leans on a dark pop/rock sound, this song is a little more pop. That being said it's still a good song, I love it, and it should've a single since it's perfect for radio. 10/10
7) If It's Alright: Another song that was rumored to be the third single from the album. It was also supposed to be the first single from the film "Flushed Away" (why it'd be in that film, I still don't know) but that was scrapped all together. I hated the song, then I liked, and now I'm in between liking it and hating it. 7/10
8) If You Were Me: "If you were me, would you push you, would you turn the other cheek and forgive you? Would you cry out, would you break down, or would you for karma to come around?" That's part of the chorus and I really like it. My only negative is that the song is too short. 10/10
9) Fastlane: Another song that was rumored to be released as the third single, (how many do we have so far?) It was supposed to be released to promote her film "Just My Luck" but just like "Black Hole" and "If It's Alright" it was also cancelled. 8/10
10) Edge of Seventeen: A cover that was originally performed by, and written by, Stevie Nicks. I heard Lindsay's version first and thought it was really good and even after hearing Stevie's original version, I still like Lindsay's version. 10/10
11) Who Loves You: Lindsay wanted this song to be the second single. When I heard that I was like "Why that song?", it would be a bad choice. This was because I hated the song so much but the more I listened to it, the more I liked. But that being said I'm glad it wasn't released as a single. 9/10
12) A Beautiful Life (La Bella Vita): This song is a ballad and it's a perfect way to end the album. I loved the song at first but I listened to it too much and it got a little boring. 8/10
After "A Little More Personal (Raw)" Lindsay focused on movies and was supposed to release her third album titled "Spirit in the Dark" in 2008 but it seems like it's shelved although seven of it's song have leaked. Anyway my favorite songs are: "I Live for the Day", "Black Hole", "If You Were Me", "A Little More Personal", and "Who Loves You". Out of 120 points I give the album 102 points which 85% which is a B. Lindsay is said to be working on a new third album, but it's just a rumor. Hopefully it's true so we get new music from her!
