1) Breakaway: The first single from the album as well as the title track and first single from "The Princess Diaries 2 Soundtrack". The song talks about wanting to get away from your old life and start a new one. The thing that shocked me the most about this song was that it was actually co-written by Avril Lavigne. In fact the song was recorded for Avril's first album, "Let Go" but it didn't fit the album. Earlier this month, Avril's demo of the song was leaked. 10/10
2) Since U Been Gone: The second single from the album. This song is known as one of Kelly's biggest hits. The song was initially given to P!nk but she turned it down, and then given to Hilary Duff but Hilary couldn't hit the high notes. The song talks about being happy that the relationship is over and in the video Kelly trashes her boyfriend's house. I love the song and it's fun to dance too and listen to when you're having a bad day. 10/10
3) Behind These Hazel Eyes: The third single from the album. This song is about Kelly's ex-boyfriend, David Hodges who not only collaborated with her on this album but used to be in "Evanescence". In the video Kelly plays a bride who is about to get married but she knows her fiance is in love with someone else. In the end she throws the ring in his face and leaves the church. 10/10
4) Because of You: The fourth single from the album. This song was written for her first album "Thankful" but her label didn't want it on the album. Apparently her label didn't want the song on this album either. Kelly wrote the song when she was coping with her parents divorce. That is also shown in the video. 10/10
5) Gone: This song is about leaving the person you're with to find someone better. Kelly had admitted that couldn't relate to the whole song but she thought it should be included on the album. I'm glad it was on because it's my favorite song on the album. Rumors were that the song was going to be the fifth single but that proved to be false. 10/10
6) Addicted: This song was inspired by the music on Evanescence's "Fallen". Ben Moody and David Hodges, who are both former members of the band, co-wrote the song with Kelly. It was Kelly's favorite song on the album and like "Gone" it was rumored to be the fifth single. That didn't happen because her last two singles were dark and the label wanted a lighter song to be a single. Shame, I would've loved to see a video for this song. 10/10
7) Where Is Your Heart: This song was written about Kelly's ex-boyfriend, David Hodges. The song is about wanting more from your partner and wondering where they are in the relationship. It is an amazing ballad that I used to ignore but I love it now. 10/10
8) Walk Away: The fifth and final single from the album. The song was on of the lighter ones on the album. I love the third verse the most. In the video Kelly is performing the song with her band while many other people lip-sync and dance to the song. 10/10
9) You Found Me: Finally a happy song! Sadly it's the only happy song on this album. The song is about being with someone who makes you feel good. It's an amazing song and I think it could've been in a lot of romantic comedy movies. 10/10
10) I Hate Myself for Losing You: The title of the song says it all. The song is about how the guy you left is now in a relationship with someone else and it's killing you. In the end of the song she sings "I Hate Myself for Loving You". Great song. 10/10
11) Hear Me: When I heard the song I thought it was about a person who had passed away and you miss them. Clearly I was wrong! The song is actually about wanting to find "the one" that you're supposed to be with but you haven't found that person and you're screaming that you're ready for them. I sadly relate to that. 10/10
12) Beautiful Disaster (Live): This song is the live version of a song that was on her first album, "Thankful". I didn't listen to "Thankful" until 2006 and when I heard the original version I was surprised. Kelly said the reason the live version of the song is on here is because she thought the production of the song distracted the lyrics. Both versions are amazing in my opinion. 10/10
To this day "Breakaway" is Kelly's best album so far. The album as got her two grammys. I love all the songs on this album. Out of 120 points I give the album all 120 points which is 100%, an A+. Awesome job Kelly!
