Kelly Clarkson: Greatest Hits - Chapter One Album Review

Like I said in my review yesterday, I was most likely gonna do another Kelly Clarkson album review.  Today I'll be reviewing her greatest hits album, mainly because I'm really busy today and needed to do a quick review today.  Sorry!  I promise tomorrow's review will be longer.  Anyway here's my track by track review:

1) Since U Been Gone: The second single from "Breakaway".  I already reviewed the song on my album review for "Breakaway".  Still a great way to start the album off though.  10/10

2) My Life Would Suck Without You: The first single from "All I Ever Wanted".  I already reviewed this song in my review for "All I Ever Wanted" yesterday.  10/10

3) Miss Independent: The second single from "Thankful".  I haven't reviewed that album, just thought I'd throw that in there haha.  The song was co-written by Christina Aguilera and it was supposed to be on her album, "Stripped" but it wasn't put on her album so Kelly got it.  Apparently Kelly had to fight to have the song on her "Thankful" album and it was put on and became a hit.  10/10

4) Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You): The second single from "Stronger".  I already reviewed the song on my album review for "Stronger".  10/10

5) Behind These Hazel Eyes: The third single from "Breakaway".  Already reviewed it in my album review for "Breakaway".  10/10

6) Because of You: The fourth single from "Breakaway".  Already reviewed it in my album review for "Breakaway".  I did forget to mention in that review though that Kelly re-recorded the song with country singer, Reba McEntire for Reba's album "Duets".  Both versions of the song are amazing.  10/10

7) Never Again: The first single and only song on the album from "My December".  The song was much more darker and had a rock sound as opposed to the 5 singles from "Breakaway".  It was a hit though and the video was pretty intense but cool at the same time.  10/10

8) Already Gone: The third single from "All I Ever Wanted".  I already reviewed this song on my album review for "All I Ever Wanted" yesterday.  I know this song was a single but I wish "I Do Not Hook Up" was on here instead of "Already Gone".  7/10

9) Mr. Know It All: The first single from "Stronger".  I already reviewed this song on my album review for "Stronger".  9/10

10) Breakaway: The first single from "Breakaway" and "The Princess Diaries 2 Soundtrack".  I already reviewed this song on my album review for "Breakaway".  10/10

11) Don't You Wanna Stay (duet with Jason Aldean): The second single from Jason Aldean's album, "My Kinda Party", as well a bonus track on the deluxe edition of Kelly's album, "Stronger".  I already reviewed this song on my album review for "Stronger".  9/10

12) Walk Away: The fifth and final single from "Breakaway".  I already reviewed this song on my album review for "Breakaway".  Anyone else getting tired of this?  10/10

13) Catch My Breath: The first single from this album.  Lyrically the song talks about Kelly's journey as an artist and also empowering.  From the music, to the lyrics to video, this song is just perfect.  10/10

14) People Like Us: The third and final single from this album.  The song is an empowering dance-pop song about being happy of who you are.  I love the chorus so much.  The video was also pretty cool.  10/10

15) Don't Rush (featuring Vince Gill): The second single from this album.  This song is a country song and it proves that Kelly can do country music as well.  It also features country singer, Vince Gill.  The song is about taking time with love.  It was also nominated for a grammy.  10/10

16) A Moment Like This: The first single from "Thankful" as well as Kelly's debut single.  The song hit number 1 in the U.S. and since its release, the song has been covered by many different artists like Leona Lewis.  9/10

17) I'll Be Home for Christmas: From her "iTunes Sessions Ep" and later a bonus track on her sixth album "Wrapped in Red", released a year after this album.  It was also a single from her "iTunes Sessions Ep".  I think the song is pretty good, but I wish "Dark Side" was on here instead.  7/10

"Greatest Hits - Chapter One" most of Kelly's best songs, as well as new tracks.  I love all the songs on the album.  Out of 170 points I give the album 161 which is 94%, an A.  Awesome job and I wonder what "Greatest Hits - Chapter Two" will be like when it's released but that's a long way's away from now.
